A floor plan and the approximate dimensions of the areas you want to divide are the best starting points. Mark any doors, windows and existing building features, and tell us whether you need enclosed rooms, flexible dividers or office pods. Photos of the site and your preferred style can also help clarify the proposal.
No. Wall cladding is used to finish or change the appearance of a wall surface; it does not, by itself, create a separate room. Partition walls and space dividers are used to define areas. If your project involves both a new layout and a consistent interior finish, the two types of products can be planned together.
They may be suitable if the space needs different arrangements at different times. The way a partition moves, its size and how it is stored vary by product. Share how you plan to use the room and how often you expect to change it, so those details can be checked against a specific model.
An office pod is a defined unit that can provide space for activities such as calls or small meetings. Partition walls allow you to plan a room around the dimensions and layout of your office. Compare the number of users, required space, available power and any site restrictions before deciding which approach fits the project.
A partition may help separate sound, but its acoustic performance depends on the complete system, including panels, doors, joints and how it is installed. A space divider and an enclosed room will also perform differently. If speech privacy matters to your project, tell us the intended use so the relevant product specifications can be checked.
Glass panels can divide rooms while keeping sightlines and allowing light to pass between areas. If some spaces need more visual privacy, you can discuss a combination of glass and solid panels. The balance depends on where people sit, what happens in each room and the look you want for the office.
A full height partition is used to define a more permanent room or boundary in the office. A movable partition is better suited to areas where the arrangement may change. Before choosing, consider whether you need a door, how often the layout will be adjusted, and what the building allows you to install.
Start with how permanent each area needs to be. Full height partitions can define enclosed rooms, while movable partitions and space dividers can separate areas without creating the same kind of fixed room. If you need a small space for calls or meetings, an office pod may be worth considering. The right choice depends on your floor plan and how each area will be used.
