Explore full height partition walls for private offices, meeting rooms and other enclosed areas. Choose from glass and solid panel options based on how much light and visual privacy each room needs. Before selecting a system, check the ceiling height, room dimensions, door positions and site conditions.

A full-height partition wall extends from the finished floor to the ceiling to create enclosed offices, meeting rooms and other functional zones. Unlike desk screens or cubicle panels, it becomes part of the room layout and must coordinate with the building’s ceiling, flooring, doors, lighting, ventilation and fire-safety systems.
A demountable partition system uses manufactured frames and panels that can be assembled, removed or reconfigured with less site construction. Traditional drywall is built and finished on site and is less convenient to relocate. The better option depends on acoustic requirements, local regulations, project schedule, budget and future layout changes.
Clear glass preserves natural light and visual connection. Frosted or tinted glass increases visual privacy while still allowing light through. Solid panels provide stronger visual separation and can conceal services more easily. Many offices combine glass and solid panels to balance openness, privacy and interior design.
System thickness affects structural stability, frame appearance, glass or panel options, acoustic performance and compatibility with doors and hardware. A thicker system is not automatically better for every project. Selection should be based on partition height, module width, required acoustic rating, door type and site conditions.
Acoustic performance depends on the complete installed system, including the glass or solid panel, number of layers, frame, seals, joints, door leaf and gaps around the perimeter. Buyers should request an applicable laboratory or system test value, such as STC or Rw, instead of relying only on a general “soundproof” description.
Accurate floor-to-ceiling heights should be measured at multiple points because floors and ceilings may not be level. The survey should also record wall alignment, corners, columns, beams, skirting, raised floors, ceiling types, door positions and nearby building services. Final production dimensions should be based on verified site measurements.
Depending on the selected system, doors may include framed or frameless glass doors, solid doors, swing doors or sliding doors. Door selection affects privacy, acoustic performance, usable floor space, accessibility and hardware requirements. The opening direction and clear width should be confirmed during layout planning.
Not automatically. Installation depends on whether the ceiling is concrete, suspended, exposed or otherwise constructed, and whether it can provide suitable support. Raised floors and suspended ceilings may require additional structural coordination. Tracks should not be fixed to finishes that cannot safely support the partition system.
Creating enclosed rooms can change airflow, lighting coverage, sprinkler distribution, smoke detection and access to power or data. These services should be reviewed during the design stage rather than after installation. Local architects, engineers or contractors should confirm compliance with applicable building, fire and electrical codes.
Provide a dimensioned floor plan, reflected ceiling plan if available, verified ceiling height, total partition length, preferred glass or solid-panel configuration, door quantity and type, acoustic target, frame finish and project location. Site photos and details of the floor and ceiling construction will help M&W prepare a more accurate proposal.
