Explore wall cladding for finishing selected walls and coordinating them with the furniture and partition systems around them. Wall cladding changes the appearance of an existing surface rather than creating a separate room. Share the wall dimensions, site photos and preferred finish when discussing a project.

Office wall cladding is a finished panel system installed over an existing wall or supporting framework. It can refresh the appearance of reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors and workspaces while concealing uneven surfaces or selected building services. Depending on its construction, wall cladding may also contribute to thermal comfort and indoor noise control.
The selection should be based on the application area, existing wall condition, required finish, acoustic expectations, fire-safety requirements and maintenance needs. Buyers should also identify doors, corners, columns, sockets, switches and other interfaces that must be integrated into the design. M&W can review project drawings and recommend a suitable configuration.
Wall cladding can support acoustic improvement when it incorporates suitable sound-absorbing materials, cavities or backing layers. However, sound absorption inside a room is different from sound insulation between rooms. If acoustic performance is important, specify whether the goal is to reduce echo, improve speech clarity or limit sound transmission, and request test data for the complete proposed assembly.
In many projects, wall cladding can be fitted over an existing concrete, masonry or drywall surface. The wall must first be checked for moisture, major unevenness, loose finishes and sufficient fixing strength. Damaged or damp areas should be repaired before installation, and an additional framework may be required where the existing surface cannot support the panel system directly.
Wall cladding can generally be adapted to different wall dimensions and interior design schemes. Panel width, height, joint layout, surface color and finish may be selected according to project requirements and available material options. Final customization should be confirmed through drawings, finish samples and approved production specifications.
These details should be planned before production. Corner trims, door surrounds, skirting connections and openings for electrical accessories need to match the site dimensions and installation sequence. Accurate setting-out drawings reduce unnecessary cutting on site and help create cleaner joints around doors, columns, sockets and switches.
Yes. The required fire performance depends on the building type, installation area, panel material and local regulations. Buyers should confirm the applicable standard and request supporting documents for the specified product or material combination. Wall cladding must not obstruct emergency signage, fire alarms, control equipment or other safety systems.
Maintenance depends on the selected surface material and the environment in which it is installed. Most commercial interior finishes can be cleaned with a soft cloth and an approved mild cleaning product, while abrasive tools and aggressive chemicals should be avoided. High-contact or stain-prone areas should use finishes selected specifically for durability and cleanability.
This depends on the panel construction and fixing method. A modular cladding system may allow selected panels or trims to be removed and replaced without rebuilding the entire wall. Keeping approved finish samples and recording panel specifications can make future repairs easier, especially because color and texture may vary between different production batches.
Provide the wall length and finished height, floor plan or wall elevations, site photos, required quantities, preferred finish, acoustic and fire-performance requirements, and delivery destination. Drawings should identify doors, windows, columns, corners, skirting, sockets and switches. With this information, M&W can assess panel quantities, trims, supporting components, packaging and installation requirements more accurately.
