Browse training desks and tables for classrooms, workshops and company training rooms. Start with how many people need a seat and whether they will write or use laptops. If the room serves several purposes, also check the dimensions and layout options of each model.

A training desk is designed for rooms that need to support different learning activities and frequent layout changes. Compared with a regular office desk, it may use a lighter structure, lockable casters and a folding or flip-top design for easier movement and storage. It is suitable for corporate training rooms, classrooms, seminars and interactive workshops.
Fixed training tables are suitable for rooms with a permanent classroom layout. Mobile tables with casters make it easier to switch between rows, group discussions and U-shaped arrangements. Flip-top training tables are especially useful in multipurpose rooms because they can be nested together and stored more compactly when the floor space is needed for another activity.
Classroom rows work well for presentations and note-taking. U-shaped layouts improve visibility and interaction between the trainer and participants. Small table groups are more suitable for workshops, project discussions and collaborative learning. A flexible training room can use mobile tables to support several layouts instead of being limited to one teaching format.
The required quantity depends on the room dimensions, table size, number of participants and preferred layout. The calculation should also include the trainer’s area, presentation equipment, entrance routes and space for participants to pull out their chairs. A floor plan allows M&W to test different arrangements and recommend a practical seating capacity.
Mobile training tables should combine easy movement with a secure working position. Models equipped with lockable casters can be rolled into place and then locked during a training session. Before selecting a model, consider the floor surface, how frequently the tables will be moved and whether users will work with laptops or other equipment on the tabletop.
A flip-top mechanism allows the tabletop to rotate into a vertical position after use. Multiple tables can then be nested closely together, reducing the amount of storage space they occupy. This is useful for training rooms that must also serve as meeting rooms, event areas or open activity spaces.
Individual desks make it easier to change seating arrangements and give each participant a clearly defined workspace. Shared tables can create a more continuous surface for teamwork and may reduce the number of table legs in the room. The better option depends on whether the space is mainly used for individual learning, computer training or group collaboration.
A presentation desk gives the trainer a dedicated place for a laptop, course materials and presentation controls. It is useful in rooms that regularly host formal instruction, seminars or product demonstrations. Positioning it near the display and connection points also keeps the trainer’s equipment organized without occupying a participant table.
First determine whether every participant needs power or only selected seats require charging access. Depending on the room, power may come from floor boxes, wall outlets or an integrated table connection system. The layout should keep cables away from walkways and still allow the tables to move or fold as intended.
Provide the room dimensions, expected number of participants, typical training activities and preferred layouts. It is also helpful to indicate whether the room needs mobile or nesting tables, laptop power, a presentation desk, temporary storage or wheelchair-accessible positions. With this information, M&W can recommend an appropriate training desk configuration and prepare a more accurate layout.
