Office and Training Furniture for a Projection Equipment Company in Mongolia

An office used for equipment demonstrations needs furniture that supports more than desk work. People need places to watch presentations, take notes, discuss products and meet in smaller groups. Seating also needs to be stored when an activity finishes.

For this projection equipment company in Mongolia, M&W supplied furniture across the employee, meeting, training, private office and lounge areas, together with a blue-framed office pod. Folding training chairs and VL workstations formed part of a wider package coordinated around these different activities.

01 | Project Overview

  • Location: Mongolia
  • Industry: Projection equipment
  • Project Type: Office with demonstration, training and reception functions
  • Employee Furniture: VL series workstations with desk screens, office chairs and storage
  • Training Furniture: Folding training chairs, including models with writing tablets
  • Meeting Furniture: Woodgrain conference tables with orange upholstered chairs
  • Electrical Configuration: Power outlets supplied with all employee workstations and conference tables
  • Additional Furniture: Private office furniture, lounge seating, coffee tables and an office pod
  • M&W Services: Furniture selection, colour coordination, production and supply, shipping arrangements and installation guidance

The office brings together distinct settings. The training area uses colourful seating, the main meeting room pairs a woodgrain table with orange chairs, and the employee area combines VL desks with bright desk screens.

M&W supplied the furniture across these areas. The package gave each setting its own functional configuration while allowing colours, materials and product choices to be considered together.

02 | Matching Furniture to Demonstrations, Training and Everyday Work

A projection equipment business needs settings where people can experience equipment as well as discuss it. A presentation audience has different furniture requirements from employees working at computers or a group seated around a conference table.

The training area supports equipment demonstrations, training sessions and reception conversations. Rows of individual chairs provide seating oriented towards the presentation area. Selected chairs include writing tablets, giving attendees a surface for notes or materials without requiring a full desk at every position.

The conference room provides a different arrangement. A long table supports face-to-face discussion, with a large display positioned at one end. The surrounding chairs accommodate seated meetings within a more formal setting.

VL workstations serve everyday office work. Desk screens define individual positions within the open employee area, while under-desk storage keeps personal items and documents close to the seated user.

Private office and lounge furniture provide further options for smaller conversations. Selecting furniture by activity addresses a common challenge in mixed-use offices: one type of desk or chair cannot serve every setting equally well.

03 | Folding Training Chairs for Use and Storage

Training seating needs to work both during a session and after it. Chairs that remain spread across a room can restrict other activities, even when the presentation has finished.

The training chairs supplied for this project can be folded for storage. This gives the team a practical way to put seating away when it is no longer required, making room for another arrangement or activity.

The seating selection includes different configurations. Writing-tablet models support note-taking during demonstrations and training. Models with castors assist movement during positioning, while other chair styles provide alternative seating within the same area.

These features need to be considered together with the room’s use. Writing surfaces should suit the intended tasks, and stored chairs need an allocated location that does not obstruct circulation or equipment access.

The value of folding seating here is its ability to support an active training setting without requiring every chair to remain permanently in place. The furniture can be brought into use for a session and folded away afterwards.

04 | Coordinating Colour and Power Across Workstations and Meetings

Furniture colour contributes strongly to this office’s character. The training area combines white chair frames and backs with coloured seats, alongside pale mint seating. These choices sit within an interior that already uses purple, blue, orange and other bright accents.

The main meeting room takes a more concentrated approach. Orange high-back chairs surround a long woodgrain conference table, creating a clear focal point against the room’s darker finishes. Wood-finish chair backs connect the seating with the table and surrounding timber tones.

In the employee area, pink and orange desk screens introduce colour above the VL desktops. The screens also provide visual separation between facing working positions, giving individual desks a clearer boundary within the open arrangement.

This coordination avoids making every room identical. Instead, colours and finishes respond to each setting while retaining a shared emphasis on wood tones and selected bright accents.

Function accompanies the visual choices. All employee workstations and conference tables were supplied with power outlets, incorporating electrical access into the furniture package. For spaces used with laptops and presentation equipment, these provisions allow connections to be considered alongside the table configuration. Equipment leads still need to be routed and organised during setup.

05 | Supplying Furniture Across Multiple Areas as One Package

A project combining employee desks, training chairs, conference furniture and lounge seating can involve many separate product decisions. When each category is selected independently, finishes, configurations and supply responsibilities become harder to coordinate.

M&W supplied all furniture shown in this project, including the blue-framed office pod. This allowed the furniture package to cover the different settings through one coordinated supply scope.

The employee area received VL desks, chairs, desk screens and storage. The meeting setting used a conference table and matching seating. Private offices combined desks and storage with guest or lounge seating, while softer furniture provided places for informal conversation.

The office pod added a separate enclosed setting within the wider furniture arrangement. Its inclusion extended the range of available spaces beyond open seating and conventional room furniture.

This project proceeded without CAD layouts or renderings. Furniture selection and coordination therefore centred on the agreed products, colours and configurations. The installed photographs show how those choices came together within the existing interior.

M&W supported production and supply with shipping arrangements and installation guidance. Bringing the categories into one package kept the scope connected from selection through delivery.

Project Outcome

The completed office supports equipment demonstrations, training, formal meetings, individual work and informal conversations through different furniture settings.

Folding training chairs address the need to store seating between activities. VL workstations provide dedicated employee positions, while powered conference tables, coordinated meeting chairs and lounge furniture support the surrounding functions.

For businesses combining office work with product demonstrations or training, M&W can coordinate furniture around the activities, seating requirements and visual direction of each area.
