Where Craftsmanship Meets: Fendi Chateau Group Visits M&W

Fendi Chateau group visit photo-1

On the morning of October 28, 2026, a delegation of strategic partners of Fendi Chateau Group visited M&W. Guided by M&W’s Sales Manager, the delegation moved through the general showroom, the production workshops, the meeting room, and the material display area. What made the morning worth recording, though, was not where they went — it was the language both sides kept coming back to: the same pursuit of quality, craftsmanship, and innovation, spoken in two very different industries.

Exploring the Art of Manufacturing: Where the Dedication Shows

The visit began in the general showroom, where the delegation walked through M&W’s workstation systems, office partitions, storage products, and meeting space configurations. From there they went into the production workshops, following a raw panel as it became a finished piece of furniture — cutting, edge banding, sewing, assembly, and inspection, one step at a time.

Seeing it in person does what a slide deck cannot. The scale behind it is concrete: a 120,000m² manufacturing base, 10 workshops, 95% of materials produced in-house, and 202 patents. M&W’s dedication to quality is not a line in a presentation — it is a routine repeated on the workshop floor, every day. It is the foundation of the company, and the part of the visit the delegation responded to most.

In the Meeting Room: Different Fields, One Belief About Quality

In the meeting room, M&W introduced its history and business scope, along with completed projects across the United States, Italy, Malaysia, and other international markets — the one on the screen was a hotel project in Malaysia. The visitors asked about design approaches and delivery in detail, and spoke highly of M&W’s ability to execute projects internationally.

The more interesting agreement was underneath. FENDI’s craftsmanship heritage comes out of leather, fashion, and luxury; M&W’s comes out of 37 years of office furniture manufacturing, material application, and workspace solutions. Two different fields do not need to share a product philosophy. They can still share a standard.

A Shared Language of Design and Quality: From Samples to the Headrest Curve

In the material display area, the delegation felt the leather for themselves — softness, grain, resilience — compared wood grain finishes side by side, and picked out several samples they particularly liked. Those samples will now guide the plans that follow.

In the sofa showroom, the power-recliner sofas drew the longest discussion, and it came down to the curvature of the headrest: how to follow the neck line more closely, so that hours of sitting feel natural. M&W’s team wrote down every suggestion and will come back with revised versions. Design, in the end, is not only about how something looks — it is about understanding the person using it.

Four Values That Ran Through the Whole Visit

Look back over the morning and the overlap is easy to trace. The two brands’ thinking met not in one moment, but at every stop:

Craftsmanship Meets Innovation. FENDI keeps pushing at the boundaries of fashion with refined craftsmanship. M&W works from the other direction — 37 years of manufacturing experience, turned into continuous product development. The 202 patents behind the company today are what that path produces.

Design Without Boundaries. Whether it is a fashion piece or an office floor, design comes down to understanding people: their needs, their taste, their individuality. M&W’s customization, material selection, and space planning put that into practice. The delegation choosing their own samples was proof enough.

People-Centered Design & Quality. The headrest discussion was not about how the sofa looked. It was about how someone’s neck would feel after hours of sitting in it. Design serves the person; quality has to survive real use.

Collaboration Creates Greater Value. Less I, More Us. M&W’s one-stop service runs from CAD space planning and 3D visuals through in-house manufacturing to delivery support — one team, from first drawing to final installation. That is how the morning unfolded. It is also how M&W runs a project.
